Fond du Lac Heroin Summit
"It's In Your Neighborhood!" 

March 11 was Fond du Lac's First Heroin Summit
The statistics are staggering: The Department of Justice reports the amount of Heroin seized in FDL since 2010 has DOUBLED. The amount of Heroin related arrests QUADRUPLED.
Heroin IS here in Fond du Lac. And the problem is growing.

Format: Panel discussion with audience questions and resources for follow through

General Description: A commanding lineup of City, County and State professionals with first hand, front-line knowledge and powerful perspective on the Heroin crisis IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.  The event culminates with a mother's compelling story. Through this admission-free summit, the community has an opportunity to inform themselves and then actively engage in stopping the downward spiral.

Event Moderator: Award winning news director Greg Stensland, Wisconsin's most reputable radio newscaster according to Accociated Press and Wisconsin Broadcasting Association

Event SPEAKERS and their focus:



  • Bill Lamb, FdL Police Chief - Severity of the Heroin presence in the FDL community
  • Eric Toney, FdL District Attorney - FDL's history of prosecuting drug dealers and what is happening currently
  • Carrie Nitz, FdL Drug Court
  • Brad Dunlap, Special Agent - The history of Heroin in our community, where it is coming from, what it looks like and what we are doing to stop it
  • Dr. Nathan Larsen, Agnesian ER
  • Dr. Sara Dennis, Agnesian OB/GYN
